These Terms and Conditions govern quotations, website use, orders and sales by Industrial Catalysts and Resources (Pty) Ltd (“ICR”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By submitting an order, accepting a quotation or using this website, you agree to these terms together with any written quotation, order confirmation and applicable policies.
1. Business and customer information
ICR supplies PPE, safety products, cleaning chemicals and equipment, industrial consumables and procurement solutions. Customers must provide accurate contact, billing, delivery, tax and order information. A person placing a business order confirms that they have authority to act for that organisation.
2. Product information and availability
We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Images may be illustrative and packaging, colour or minor specifications may change without affecting the product’s intended function. Product suitability remains the customer’s responsibility unless ICR has expressly recommended a product for a disclosed purpose in writing. Stock and supplier availability are not guaranteed until the order is confirmed.
3. Prices, quotations and tax
Prices are stated in South African rand. ICR is not currently registered for VAT; VAT will therefore not be added unless our registration status changes and this is shown on the applicable invoice. Website prices and quotations may be corrected before acceptance where an obvious error occurred. Quotations are valid for the period stated and may exclude delivery, branding, installation or special handling unless specifically included.
4. Orders and acceptance
An online order, purchase order or accepted quotation is an offer to purchase. A binding sale is formed only when ICR accepts the order and confirms availability, pricing, delivery and payment requirements. We may decline or cancel an order for unavailable stock, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or other reasonable operational grounds, and will refund any amount already paid for cancelled items.
5. Payment
Available methods may include EFT and an approved online payment gateway. Payment terms shown on the quotation, invoice or checkout apply. Unless written credit terms have been approved, goods are released only after cleared payment. The customer must use the correct order or invoice reference. Proof of payment does not itself constitute cleared funds.
6. Delivery and collection
Delivery and collection are governed by our Shipping, Delivery & Collection Policy. Local delivery is R150 for eligible orders below R2,500, free local delivery applies to eligible orders of R2,500 or more, free Saulsville collection is available by arrangement, and delivery outside the local area is quoted separately.
7. Returns, refunds and warranties
Returns and remedies are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy, the Consumer Protection Act and any applicable manufacturer warranty. Customers must follow safety data sheets, operating instructions, storage requirements and intended-use guidance.
8. Special orders and branding
Custom, branded, specially sourced, imported or made-to-order goods may require a deposit and written approval of artwork, specifications or samples. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of approved designs and for having permission to use supplied trademarks or content. Reasonable costs already incurred may be payable if the customer cancels after procurement or production begins.
9. Website use and intellectual property
You may use this website for lawful enquiries and purchases. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent information or copy ICR branding and content for commercial use without written permission. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, ICR is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, business interruption or loss caused by misuse, incorrect storage, unauthorised modification, failure to follow instructions or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Privacy
Personal information is processed according to our Privacy Policy and applicable South African law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by South African law. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute through good-faith written communication. Nothing prevents a customer from using rights or complaint mechanisms available under applicable law.
